Once again, our Energy Conference will feature incredible networking and interactive learning opportunities with the perennially popular off-site industry tours on Tuesday afternoon. This year’s tour kicks off with the Magellan Terminal in Des Moines.

Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. owns the longest refined petroleum products pipeline system in the country. With over 9,700 miles of pipelines, 53 terminals, and approximately 42 million barrels of storage, Magellan can tap into nearly 50% of the nation’s refining capacity and we deliver into major demand hubs including Houston, Dallas, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Kansas City, Des Moines, Minneapolis, Little Rock, El Paso, Albuquerque, and Denver. More than 1.2 million barrels per day are moved through their assets. Ethanol storage and blending services are offered at all 53 of its refined products terminals in the MPL South, Central, and Mountain systems. Magellan offers storage and distribution services for Ethanol Flex Fuel in many markets. Biodiesel storage and blending services are offered at 10 terminals; two of which are in Iowa at Mason City and Des Moines. This year’s tour will provide an overview of the MPL assets and walking tour of the biodiesel blending process as trucks load at the rack.
